This afternoon session brings together experts from across the built environment to explore the real-world challenges of delivering complex masterplans in today’s regulatory and financial landscape.
Using the landmark Canada Water Masterplan as the backdrop, the discussion will examine how developers, contractors and project teams are responding to the Building Safety Act, evolving insurance requirements, and the growing need for structured digital information across long-term programmes.
Through a combination of expert talks, practical insights and a site tour, attendees will hear how industry leaders are aligning governance, compliance and digital assurance to support safer buildings, stronger insurability and confident investment across multi-plot developments.
The event concludes with a guided tour of the Canada Water site followed by networking drinks, offering an opportunity for peer discussion with fellow developers, asset owners and senior project leaders.

Michael Delf, Project Director – Canada Water, British Land
Michael Delf is a Development Executive at British Land, with over 15 years’ experience spanning urban design, development strategy, and smart city innovation. He has led major projects across the UK and internationally, with previous roles at Arup and Foster + Partners, working at the intersection of planning, technology, and real estate.
Earlier in his career, he held strategic and investment roles across Asia in venture capital and large-scale city development.
Libby Bado, Vice President, Global Construction Practice, Lockton
Libby Bado is a Vice President in the Global Construction Practice at Lockton with over a decade of insurance experience. Specialising in advising Owners and Developers, she provides strategic risk and insurance guidance through the lifecycle of projects across multiple asset classes in the UK and across Europe. Libby started her insurance career in 2013 working on major projects in the UK, and having joined Lockton in 2021 she plays a key role in the Owners and Developers team, delivering comprehensive client service, leading client engagement and shaping project insurance strategy.
Will Freeman, Founder, Enframe Consulting
Will Freeman is the founder of Enframe Consulting and a strategic advisor on building safety, regulatory reform, and digital transformation in the built environment. With over 25 years’ experience across architecture, construction, and regulation, he supports clients, industry bodies, and government in strengthening competence, governance, and accountability. He is a Board Member of the Architects Registration Board, contributing to the UK’s evolving regulatory framework. His career includes senior roles across major programmes such as the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Dr Bola Abisogun OBE, Digital Twins Skills Academy CIC (DTSA)
Dr Bola Abisogun OBE is Founder and CEO of AI-QS, an RICS Tech Partner delivering digital twin solutions for cost management and insurance. A Fellow of RICS and member of CIOB, he leads the #PQS2030 initiative, advancing digital twin adoption in professional services. He is Founder and President of the Digital Twin Skills Academy, supporting access and skills development for underrepresented groups, and Chair of DiverseCity Surveyors. Bola is a recognised industry leader, serving on national forums including the Construction Industry Council and Centre for Digital Built Britain, and was awarded an OBE for services to diversity and young people.
Stuart Bell, CEO and Event Host, Amodal
Stuart Bell is Chief Executive Officer at Amodal, where he leads the company’s professional services and digital platform strategy to support contractors, asset owners and developers in managing project information. He works closely with clients to deliver consistent, structured and trusted information management across complex projects and programmes, with a focus on compliance, collaboration and efficiency.
With over 15 years’ experience in the built environment, Stuart has held leadership roles spanning consultancy, product development and business growth, and has been instrumental in advancing the adoption of ISO 19650 and digital standards across the industry
Tom Whiting, Founder and Director, Amodal
Tom has a background in a variety of roles across the built environment and specialises in delivering structured information. He uses his experience to deliver tangible solutions from a considered perspective.
Tom started as a Civil Engineer for a tier one contractor and developed with roles in technical design, temporary works, pre-construction, strategic development, site engineer and Digital Engineer (BIM).
Tom founded Amodal to deliver expert information management strategy services and solutions for main Contractors, Asset Owners and major Property Developers.
